About the Concert

It is often difficult and takes a long time to prevail against superfathers. It took Brahms twenty years before he considered his first symphony successful enough to perform it. Nevertheless, it was labelled "Beethoven's Tenth". However, this was not meant critically at all, but rather to imply that he was a worthy descendant of the classical master. And it is by no means a copy - on the contrary, Brahms found his very own tonal language here, which still captivates us today.
