About the Concert

Closer to the orchestra and the conductor? We are serious about it and invite you to move closer to the musicians on stage during a rehearsal! The program includes the so-called "Unfinished" Symphony by Franz Schubert, a masterpiece of Romanticism, which our First Guest Conductor Tabita Berglund will be working on with the orchestra.

Tabita Berglund

Principal Guest Conductor 25/26

Norwegian conductor Tabita Berglund is celebrated for her "exceptional music-making" (The Arts Desk) and captivates audiences with her charismatic and inspiring style. She has been Principal Guest Conductor of the Dresden Philharmonic since the 2025/26 season and holds the same position with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra since 2024/25. In addition to her already broad repertoire ranging from Mozart to Lutosławski, she is particularly dedicated to the music of composers from the Nordic countries.
