Today, the Dresden Philharmonic is popping the corks. Many centuries ago, fireworks were set off to celebrate great occasions. This was also the case in April 1749, when the British King George II, who came from Hanover, organized a great peace festival. George Frideric Handel composed music for the occasion that is still popular today because it tingles so wonderfully in the ears. We can only hope that little Phili doesn't get any ideas, or does she? Daniel will have his work cut out for him this morning. But don't worry! The fire department is always present at every concert at the Kulturpalast

Victoria Esper brings the meerkat Phili to life with her voice at our family concerts. She enjoys stimulating the children's imagination and, together with Malte Arkona and the Dresden Philharmonic, contributing to a lively music education.
