Antoni Staniec is a tenor and is studying at the Berlin University of the Arts. Born in Kraków, he grew up in Częstochowa and Schwedt/Oder, where he received his initial musical training at the J. A. P. Schulz Music School before commencing his studies in art and education in Berlin.
Among his formative stage experiences is the portrayal of the title role in the monologue opera "The Little Prince" in Schwedt/Oder. He is a prize-winner of the Jugend musiziert competition and, as a lieder singer in Berlin, is part of the duo "Gable & Staniec", which regularly develops and performs chamber music programmes. In addition, he performed in Berlin as part of the Zoom+Focus concert series, singing in two world premieres accompanied by an orchestra.
Alongside his artistic work, he is active as a dedicated vocal coach. He also gained practical experience through internships at opera houses in New York City, Paris and Berlin. He gives workshops and teaches regularly on an international basis.
In 2026, he launched the "Giuditta Pasta Academy", a centre for young opera singers where they can learn more about the tradition and history of vocal art and perform rarely staged operas by bel canto composers.
