Benjy Fox-Rosen

Benjy Fox-Rosen is a US-born musician and researcher who now lives in Vienna. He is the conductor of the Vienna City Temple Choir, accompanying Cantor Shmuel Barzilai on a weekly basis.

Fox-Rosen is professionally active on both sides of the Atlantic and has toured and recorded with leading artists* in the klezmer revival. He has taught and performed at many international festivals, including Lincoln Center, the Kennedy Center, and the Krakow Jewish Culture Festival.

As a composer, Fox-Rosen has been commissioned to write works for choirs, artistic interventions, and audio installations.
