Dittmar Trebeljahr

Dittmar Trebeljahr received his first clarinet lessons in 1973, saxophone lessons from 1976 and studied at the Leipzig Academy of Music. In 1982 he was engaged at the Landestheater Halle as clarinettist and saxophonist. In 1985 he was principal clarinetist at the Landestheater Dessau, and in 1987 he joined the Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra as principal e-flat clarinetist. From 1989 he played with the Dresdner Tanzsinfoniker under Günther Hörig and participated in CD productions and concerts of the Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden, the Gewandhaus Leipzig, the MDR Sinfonieorchester, at the WDR, NDR and Bayrischer Rundfunk. He is a lecturer at the Dresden University of Music.
