Dominik Nuß (*1994 in Spaichingen in the Swabian Alb) grew up in Bad Friedrichshall-Duttenberg. He began studying at the Würzburg University of Music in the fall of 2012, initially as a junior student and then up to his Bachelor's degree (Prof. Berton Nordblom and Heiko Triebener). The tuba player is currently completing his master's degree at the Carl Maria von Weber University of Music Dresden under Prof. Jörg Wachsmuth. From 2018 to 2020, Dominik Nuß was an academy member of the Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden. He has been a member of the Saxon Police Orchestra since 2022. He regularly works as a substitute with German symphony orchestras such as the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra, the Robert Schumann Philharmonic Orchestra Chemnitz and the Göttingen Symphony Orchestra.
