Ipek Atila (born 1997 in Turkey) began playing the violin at the age of 7. At 12, she enrolled at the Ankara State Conservatory of Music as a junior student. She studied violin with Prof. Ilona Sie Dhian Ho and baroque violin with Walter Reiter at Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag on full scholarship. She is currently pursuing her Master's degree at the Conservatory of Music with Prof. Muriel Cantoreggi.
At the age of 19 she was selected for the Schleswig Holstein Music Festival. In the years 2022-2023 she was an academist with the Norddeutsche Philharmonie Rostock. She has also played as a substitute, with ensembles such as the Balthasar Neumann Ensemble and the Asko Schönberg Ensemble.
She took master classes with Phillippe Grafin, Stefan Picard, Cuarteto Casals, Armida Quartet.
She was a scholarship recipient of the Pfahlberg Foundation and the E.T.A Hoffman Foundation. Since 2022 Atila is a scholarship holder of the Landessammlung Streichinstrumente Baden-
Württemberg and plays a Jakobus Stainer violin.
