KultBlech Dresden

KultBlechDresden is the brass ensemble of the Dresden Philharmonic founded in 2018. Five trumpets, three trombones, two horns, euphonium, tuba and two percussionists play arrangements written especially for the ensemble by Hans-Reiner Schmidt and Markus Höller. The ensemble's debut CD, "Von wegen Stille Nacht", was released in December 2018. In 2021, two further albums were released with Saint-Saëns' "Carnival of the Animals" and Malte Arkona in a version for children and for adults.
