Ricarda Maria Glöckler, born in Dresden, first studied in the class of Prof. Erich Krüger/ Prof. Ditte Leser at the HfM Franz Liszt Weimar. A study abroad led her to Lyon to the "Conservatoire national supérieur de musique" to Prof. Francoise Gnéri. She completed her master's studies with Prof. Pauline Sachse at the HfM Carl Maria von Weber Dresden. She also received important artistic impulses at master classes given by outstanding violists such as Antoine Tamestit, Nils Mönkemeyer, Hariolf Schlichtig and Barbara Westphal. She was a scholarship holder of Live Music Now Yehudi Menuhin, the Cusanuswerk and the Richard-Wagner-Verein. She has already performed as a soloist with the Jena Philharmonic Orchestra.
She gained her first orchestral experience as a substitute with the Staatskapelle Weimar. In 2021 she won academy auditions almost simultaneously with the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra and the Saxon Staatskapelle Dresden. She decided to join the Guiseppe Sinopoli Academy of the Sächsische Staatskapelle, where she received lessons from mentor Prof. Florian Richter. She has been a member of the Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra since May 2023.
