Tom Wlaschiha was born and raised near Dresden. After studying acting at the Theaterhochschule Leipzig, he was hired by various theatres, including the Theater Junge Generation Dresden and the Schauspielhaus Zürich.
He has also worked in film and television for many years. In Germany, he has appeared in KRABAT by Marco Kreuzpaintner and BERLIN FALLING by Ken Duken, as well as in several seasons of the successful SKY production DAS BOOT.
He gained international fame in continuous roles in major series productions such as CROSSING LINES, as Jaqen H'Ghar in GAME OF THRONES, in JACK RYAN and as Dmitri/ Enzo in the current season of the Netflix hit STRANGER THINGS. He is currently in the cast of the new series MRS DAVIS on Amazon.
Last year, he hosted the Dresden Semperoper Ball for the first time.
