Ravel and Rachmaninov stand for many things in music, but not for the organ. That is both true and not true at the same time. Their compositions, played in this concert by Thomas Ospital from the Basque country, were originally written for orchestra. In this concert, we can experience how attractive and surprising it can be for our ears to combine works such as Rachmaninov's "The Isle of the Dead" and "Le Tombeau de Couperin", Ravel's Requiem for his friends who died in the First World War, with the countless sound possibilities of an organ. In addition, works by Bach and Saint-Saens will be played - everything you need to embark on a musical voyage of discovery.
