The Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra performs the most popular melodies from Hollywood classics such as Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Jurassic Park, and more. With an impressive multimedia show and moderation. On this evening, you will not see original sequences from the films, but specially created, thematically appropriate visuals as well as many close-up shots of our live orchestra.

Benjamin Pope

Conductor

Conductor, composer and arranger Benjamin Pope has conducted in concert halls and opera houses all over the world. He specializes in ballet and dance music as well as live accompaniment for films and film sequences. John Williams and Disney have officially recognized him as the conductor of the iconic "Star Wars" score. He is also involved in music education, including as principal conductor of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra's education program "RPO Resound".
