About the Concert
When the Dresden Philharmonic Choir and the Oslo Philharmonic Choir give a joint concert, fans of choral music can look forward to excellent choral singing, of course, but also to the special atmosphere that is created when two musical and vocal cultures present themselves at the same time. Works by Grieg and Nystedt bring Scandinavian flair, while Brahms and F. Hensel represent the tradition of German choral music.
The concert will conclude with a joint performance of works by Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy and Ola Gjelo, in which the two choirs will merge into one ensemble.
