Anna Moriová

 

Mezzo-soprano Anna Moriová studied under Simona Procházková at the Pilsen Conservatory and subsequently at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (HAMU) in the class of Natalija Melnik. She regularly participates in masterclasses led by renowned artists such as A. Carangelo, V. Chmelo, G. Beňačková, G. Eibenová, K. Kněžíková, M. Cukrová, B. Lafont, and S. Šaturová.

In 2021, she became the winner of the Dušek Singing Competition in Prague. In 2025, she was awarded 1st Prize in the Song category and 2nd Prize in the Opera category at the Antonín Dvořák International Singing Competition, along with several special awards.

In 2022 and 2024, she completed two six-month exchange studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw), studying with Sebastian Vittucci, Stephen Delaney, and Anton Scharinger.

She made her debut at the National Theatre in Prague in 2022 as Fekluša (Leoš Janáček: Káťa Kabanová), followed by her debut as The Kitchen Boy (Antonín Dvořák: Rusalka) in March 2024. In December 2022, she debuted at the Moravian Theatre Olomouc as the Third Wood Sprite (Rusalka), and in May 2023 she appeared there as Annio (W. A. Mozart: La clemenza di Tito).

In December 2023, she debuted at the South Bohemian Theatre as Magdalena (Jan Jirásek: Komenský), and in April 2024 she performed the role of Varvara (Káťa Kabanová) at the Silesian Theatre in Opava.

Since September 2023, she has been a soloist of the Opera Company of the Moravian Theatre Olomouc, where her repertoire has expanded to include roles such as Fenena (Giuseppe Verdi: Nabucco), Barena and Jano (Leoš Janáček: Jenůfa), Hansel (Engelbert Humperdinck: Hansel and Gretel), and Flora Bervoix (Giuseppe Verdi: La Traviata).

In October 2025, she made her debut at the National Theatre Brno as Barena (Jenůfa), and in January 2026 at the J. K. Tyl Theatre in Plzeň as Andronico (Josef Mysliveček: Tamerlano).
