Dr. Claudia Woldt studied Slavic and Romance languages and literature in Dresden, Berlin and Brno and wrote her doctoral thesis on the Czech language. She worked for three years at the European Academy in Bolzano and then as a research assistant at the Institute for Slavic Studies at TU Dresden.
Since 2015, she has been responsible for the external communication of the Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra as press spokesperson. In addition to her publications on cultural studies linguistics, she has edited ‘150 Jahre Dresdner Philharmonie’, the book celebrating the orchestra's anniversary, together with Adelheid Schloemann. In 2024, Schott-Verlag published ‘Die Möglichkeit einer gewissen Distanz - Carsten Tesch im Gespräch mit Marek Janowski’, which she edited.
