The accordionist, bandoneonist and music teacher Jakub Jedlinský graduated from the Pardubice Conservatory, the West Bohemian University in Pilsen and the master class at the Danish Academy of Music in Esbjerg under Jytte von Rüden.
He is the winner of numerous national and international competitions and has taken part in courses and seminars with leading personalities in his field (B. Dowlasz, N. Sevryukov, Yuri Shiskin, among others). During his studies, he worked with Czech Radio, for which he played solo and chamber music concerts.
Jakub Jedlinský performs as a soloist and, above all, as a chamber musician at international music festivals in the Czech Republic and abroad, including in Germany, Denmark, Poland, Austria, Great Britain, Belgium and France. He has had the opportunity to perform on major international stages such as the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester and the Rudolfinum in Prague on several occasions.
In 2011, he founded the Escualo Quintet, which is dedicated to Argentine tango and in particular to the music of Astor Piazzolla. With this ensemble, he has celebrated numerous successes on national and international stages.
He has been a guest with the Bardolino Ensemble since 2015 and a permanent member since 2018. In 2013, he founded the group GaRe (original crossover chanson cabaret) with the charismatic singer and performer Gabriela Vermelho. Finally, he has been working with violinist Pavel Fischer in a cross-genre duo since 2019.
