In the academy 2018-2021

Léa Villeneuve is from France, received her first musical education at the music school of her hometown Lescar and later at the Conservatoires of Pau, Toulouse and Marseille.
From 2013 to 2017, she completed her bachelor's degree with Prof. Stéphane Réty at the Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber in Dresden.  
After the three-year orchestra academy at the Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra and the related advanced Master's degree in Orchestra Practice, she successfully completed her Master Artistic with Prof. Stephanie Winker at the HfMDK Frankfurt, including the Master Pedagogy and is currently studying the Traverse Flute.
 
She performs as a chamber musician in various ensembles and is regularly requested as a substitute with several German orchestras, such as the Dresden Philharmonic, the Gürzenich Orchestra or the WDR Symphony Orchestra.
In parallel, she initiates innovative, inclusive, interdisciplinary concert formats and is socially engaged through, among other things, benefit concerts. Recently, she co-founded the chamber music festival "Les Müsicales de Saint-Faust" in her hometown.
For more than 10 years, Léa has also been active as a teacher and has been a jury member of the national competition "Jugend musiziert" several times.
