About the Concert

Closer to the orchestra and the conductor? We are serious about it and invite you to move closer to the musicians on stage during a rehearsal! The program includes Ludwig van Beethoven's Seventh Symphony, a masterpiece of classical music, which our First Guest Conductor Tabita Berglund will be "fine-tuning" with the orchestra.

Tabita Berglund

Principal Guest Conductor 25/26

The Norwegian conductor Tabita Berglund is acclaimed for her "exceptional music-making" (The Arts Desk) and captivates audiences with her charismatic and inspiring style and a wide-ranging repertoire that includes many works by Nordic composers. In August 2027, she will become Chief Conductor of the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra; from summer 2026, she will already be serving as its Chief Conductor-designate. She is also Principal Guest Conductor of the Dresden Philharmonic and the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.
