Renting the concert hall

The Kulturpalast with its excellent concert hall is literally at the center of Dresden's musical life on the Altmarkt. Home to the Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra, a top orchestra with a 150-year tradition, it is the ideal venue for a wide range of events: Concerts, exclusive galas, shows, readings, conferences, panel discussions and more.

Here you will find ideal conditions to make your event a success for you and your guests. With our event management, an experienced team is at your disposal, which competently advises and accompanies you from the first idea through the execution to the end of your event.
Whether from a hotel in the city center, from the train station, the underground car park or even from the airport - the Kulturpalast is easily accessible by all means of transport and on foot and its central location also offers opportunities for your guests to spend more pleasant hours in the heart of the old town before or after the event.

Our concert hall

With its nearly 1,800 seats and first-class acoustics, the hall designed by the renowned architects von Gerkan, Marg and Partners is convincing both visually and sonically. Its terrace-like structure with the stage placed towards the center of the hall is suitable for various event formats. The stage has lifting platforms, and the technical equipment for lighting and sound is pre-installed and can be adapted by you to your own needs.
