Do you like to plan for the long term and have your best plans on the calendar early? Then our Festplatz subscriptions are just right for you. Are you one of those who like to make your own choices and plan more flexibly? Then an elective subscription is certainly the best option for you.

A subscription allows you:

  • As a subscriber:in, you can be the first:r to book.
  • With a fixed subscription you save up to 40% compared to the normal price, with an elective subscription 20%.
  • With a fixed subscription, you have the same seat in the concerts whenever possible.
  • We will inform you exclusively about special offers.
  • You can take your friends and family to the concert with a 10% discount

You can book these subscriptions:

Whether you prefer nine or six concerts, whether with famous soloists or the greats of the future, whether with well-known masterpieces of orchestral music or with treasures that are waiting to be discovered - each of our large subscriptions has the right concerts for you. Depending on the number of concerts, you can save up to 40 percent on the normal ticket price. You will find our large subscriptions under the designation A-C.

You like to go to a concert, but it doesn't have to be the whole big package? With our small subscriptions, we have selected four or five concerts for you. With our matinee concerts, you can start your Sunday with a musical highlight. Or perhaps you are one of those who like to crown your working week with a concert on Friday evening, or you prefer to mix things up and come to us on different days of the week. You will find our small subscriptions under the designation D-I.

Do you like classical music more intimate, in a small ensemble and would like to experience our musicians individually? Our two chamber music subscriptions combine five chamber concerts on Sundays at 11 am and 6 pm respectively. With our Festival Special, you have the opportunity to experience our Artist in Residence on three consecutive evenings for a small price. Our extras can be found under the designation K1, K2 and PatKop.

Everything I want! You would like to be flexible and choose your own concerts? Then use our elective subscription, which you can book with at least 4 concerts. You have to book the same number of seats per concert. You can book as many elective subscriptions as you like per season; these lose their validity after the last concert. The elective subscription ends automatically with the visit of the last booked event.

Paying just 7.50 € for a concert? Of course! Pupils, young people (students, trainees, men and women doing voluntary service or a voluntary social year, people doing military service) and asylum seekers can purchase any subscription for €7.50 per concert from the start of sales. These Young People € subscriptions do not renew after the end of the season.

You should not miss this

Adela Bratu, Second violins prelude

"I think it is sensational that Patricia Kopatchinskaja will play several concerts with us at once. For me, she is one of the greatest artists ever. The festival with her, where she will play the great violin concertos of the 1930s on three evenings in a row, is simply not to be missed. On the one hand, she is an excellent violinist, but she is much more than that: she bubbles over with passion for what she plays and inspires the audience with it as well. I would also like to recommend the concerts with Cristian Măcelaru. Not because he is my compatriot, although of course that creates a special connection, but because he makes our orchestra perform at its best with his precise conducting and at the same time enormous musicality."

Her recommendations:

DVOŘÁK 6 9/10 MRZ 24 (included in subscriptions A, H & WA).

PATRICIA KOPATCHINSKAYA I-III 6/7/8 JUN 24 (ethalten in Abo PatKop).

"Gulda and Mozart, there could hardly be a greater contrast, could there? That is precisely why I would like to especially recommend this concert to you. Mozart's 'Gran Partita' is the classical summit work for wind instruments, Gulda's cello concerto already protrudes into the light music of our time. Nevertheless, both have a common breath. Let's explore it together! There is a lot of talk about musical maturity and authenticity, especially among the 'stars' of classical music. All the more astonishing and touching when a young artist can convey both seemingly effortlessly and the phrase 'she can enchant the audience' needs no explanation. María Dueñas is one of these gifted young artists, let's let her enchant us!"

His recommendations:

GULDA AND MOZART 14 JAN 24 (included in subscriptions K2 and WA).

KENT NAGANO 6/7 APR 2 (included in subscriptions A, G and WA).

Johannes Pfeiffer, Solo oboist
Kathrin Bäz, Solo flutist

"Exciting for me, of course, are the works of Debussy and Ravel, which give room to the flexible sound of the flute and open up the possibility for the flutist to illuminate the entire spectrum of sound colors. An entire program is dedicated to this atmospheric music - wonderful! I am also very much looking forward to Dvořák's 'Stabat mater' for Dresden's Memorial Day with Marek Janowski. This is wonderful music, sung by the fabulous MDR Radio Choir, whose expressiveness and richness of color regularly gives me goosebumps, especially in our hall. But beware, danger of addiction!"

Her recommendations:

STABAT MATER 13 FEB 24 (included in subscriptions D and WA).

DEBUSSY AND RAVEL 1/2 MR 24 (included in subscriptions F, B and WA).

"For me, there are some favorites, for example Ravel's 'Daphnis and Chloé' in early March. I played that piece in my rehearsal concert. After that, I got the confirmation that I could start the rehearsal year. So this marks an important stage in my professional career. I am especially looking forward to the saxophone program! Of course, because of the rather unusual solo instrument, but we are also playing Shostakovich's 'Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk'. That is actually opera music, and we are performing excerpts from it as a suite. It's a real challenge for us, and I'm excited to see how it works in the concert hall."

His recommendations:

SAXOPHON! 25/26 NOV 23 (included in subscriptions A, E and WA).

DEBUSSY AND RAVEL 1/2 MR 24 (included in subscriptions F, B and WA).
