AS YOU LIKE IT! - YOUR SUBSCRIPTION TO THE DRESDEN PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA

Do you like to plan for the long term and prefer to have your best plans in your calendar well in advance? Then our festival site subscriptions are just right for you. Or are you one of those who like to choose for themselves, plan more flexibly and also want to book a subscription later in the season? Then one of our new and flexible optional subscriptions is the best choice.

A subscription allows you: 

  • As a season ticket holder, you will receive your seat for the coming season before all other guests.

  • With a fixed subscription you save up to approx. 40% compared to the normal price, with an flexible subscription approx. 20%.

  • If possible, you will receive the same seat in the concerts with a fixed seat subscription.

  • As a fixed subscriber, you have the opportunity to swap within the orchestra concerts up to three times per season without additional charge (subject to availability).

  • As an flexible subscriber, from the 2025/26 season you can choose your desired concerts from one of our four concert series (symphony concerts, chamber concerts, short concerts abFRACKt and/or short concerts Best of Classics) and book them on site at the ticket service or online in the webshop as an individual subscription.

  • We invite you to a presentation of the new concert season in advance.

  • We will inform you exclusively about special offers.

Whether you prefer to come more often or just a few times a year, whether you particularly like the works of well-known composers or you like to try something new - each of our large subscriptions has the right concerts for you. Depending on the number of concerts, you can save up to 36% on the normal ticket price. You will find our major subscriptions under A-E.

Do you like going to concerts, but it doesn't have to be every week? With our small subscriptions, we have selected four or five concerts for you each week. With our matinee concerts, you can start your Sunday with a musical highlight and have already experienced something wonderful at lunchtime. Or perhaps you are one of those who like to end their working week with a concert on Friday evening. Or you prefer to mix things up and come to us on different days of the week. You can find our small subscriptions under the name G-I.​​​​​​​

You can put together an optional subscription from our symphony concerts, which are marked WA in the calendar. It must include at least four and can include a maximum of ten concerts. You can also book a subscription of your choice from our chamber music, abFRACKt and Best of Klassik series. Depending on the series, it can include a minimum of three and a maximum of eight concerts. It is not possible to swap concert dates from an flexible subscription.

A concert for €7.50? Of course! Pupils and young people (students, trainees, men and women doing their federal voluntary service or a voluntary social year, military service) under the age of 30 can purchase any subscription from the start of sales for €7.50 per concert. These Young People's € subscriptions are not automatically renewed. From the 2025/26 season, the price will be €8 per concert. Within a fixed subscription, up to 3 concert dates can be exchanged at a later date.

The concerts of subscription

As a subscriber, you not only benefit from early information about almost all Dresden Philharmonic events, but also save between approx. 16 and 40% compared to buying individual tickets.

Book selected concerts from one of the following four concert series. You can recognize the optional subscriptions by the markings in the event calendar: WA - flexible subscription symphony concerts WK - flexible subscription chamber concerts Wab - flexible subscription abFRACKt WB - flexible subscription Best of Classics. Depending on availability, the price categories in the individual concerts are variable; the same number of seats must be purchased per concert. You can book as many flexible subscriptions per season as you wish. The flexible subscription ends automatically when you attend the last booked event. Tickets from an optional subscription cannot be exchanged.

Holders of the Dresden Pass and severely disabled persons with a disability of 80 or more receive a 50% discount on the normal price for all subscriptions. Booking is possible at the ticket service.

You can pay for your subscription directly in the webshop by Paypal or credit card, in the ticket service or by bank transfer. You are also welcome to use the direct debit procedure to pay for your fixed subscription (does not apply to optional subscribers, the application form can be found in the download area below).

No more queuing for fixed seat subscriptions thanks to direct debit: you will receive your concert offer and the invoice, and your account will be debited automatically (does not apply to individual subscriptions). We will then send you the tickets: digitally or by post.

As a subscriber, you will receive a one-off customer card from the ticket service. You can use it to take advantage of special and additional offers in the ticket service and in the webshop. The AboCard is valid from the purchase of a season ticket until it is canceled or, in the case of an optional season ticket, until the end of the respective season.

From a fixed seat subscription, you have the opportunity to swap to a suitable concert up to three times per season, as long as seats are available. What's new about this? From the 2025/26 season, exchanges will be free of charge. The best way to make the exchange yourself is via your customer account in the webshop.

The term of the subscription is automatically extended if it is not canceled in writing by 30 APR of the current season. An individual subscription is only valid for the booked concerts of a season and is not extended.

We will inform you in writing about the new concert programs before the start of sales for the coming season. As a subscriber, we will also keep you informed during the season about the program and special features of upcoming concerts, additional events and one-off offers.

As a subscriber, you will receive the season publication for the coming season by mail.

Your seat in the concert hall

Would you like to keep your seat in the concert hall of the Kulturpalast for all Dresden Philharmonic events and continue to see and hear well throughout the season? Or would you prefer to always have new perspectives, experience the concert hall in all its facets and only book a subscription in the course of the season? No problem - we can arrange both options for you as a subscriber, a fixed seat subscription or an individual subscription depending on the concert format, subject to availability. Our ticket service colleagues will be happy to inform you. You can book your subscriptions conveniently in the webshop or on site at the ticket service.

Additional single tickets 10% cheaper

As a subscriber, you have the opportunity to purchase additional tickets for a large number of Dresden Philharmonic concerts with a discount of approx. 10% on the normal price - in our ticket service and in the webshop!
